  Ayurveda literally translates as ‘science of life’ or ‘knowledge of life’ and has its foundation in the Vedas. Ayurveda Applications is the oldest and the most developed life-science of natural healing in the world. Ayurveda Applications is the eternal wisdom of the ancient sages who received this science as the divine blessing. This is not merely a system of healing, but an entire way of life that aims to bring about the perfect balance of the entire personality – body, mind and soul. This wisdom is based on the perfect wholeness of cosmic consciousness experienced through spiritual introspection and meditation.

Ayurveda is giving prime importance to changes regarding food, regimens, exercise, sex, sleep, cloth according to the season. It will help the body and mind to maintain the strength. Among this food have a vital role to remain swasta [heath] and cure disease. The varsha rtutu [rainy season] water sources are highly polluted, atmosphere air is too moist and cold, all food items are watery and very difficult to digest. So the traditional Kerala Ayurvedic physicians developed a highly nutritional, light and balanced diet for this period. According to the season we provide a Gruel which will kindle the Jataragni, improve the immune system and help to abolish all ailments.

Aarsha Yoga Vidya Peetham is conducting a one month Yoga Ayurveda Rejuvenation Course starting from 3rd July with our teacher P.S Parameswaran and Dr. BENOY. N J. An ayurvedic cooking class is being conducted along with rejuvenation course for students having interest on cooking. An off day is provided for students joining this course after consecutive 6 days of classes. Course fee include food and accommodation.
